How we handle your information when you visit amvn.co.uk or get in touch. Plain English, as little data as possible, no dark patterns.
AMVN is an independent UK studio and a trading name of AMVN LTD, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16768817). For information collected through this website, AMVN LTD is the “data controller” — the business responsible for your data.
Registered office: [ add registered office address before publishing ]. You can reach us any time at hello@amvn.co.uk.
If you email us or use a contact link, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to give it), and whatever you put in your message. This goes straight to our inbox.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — things like your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and timestamps — to keep the site secure and working properly.
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve them, Google may receive your IP address. We don't use Google Fonts to track you.
This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary to make the site function or keep it secure. If we introduce analytics in future, we'll update this statement and, where required, ask for your consent first.
We only use your information for clear, limited purposes. Under UK data protection law, each has a “lawful basis”:
We never sell or rent your data. We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, and only ever what they need:
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to help you and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them. Server logs are held for a short period by our hosting provider before being cleared.
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as a UK “adequacy” decision or standard contractual clauses — so your data keeps a similar level of protection.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, just email hello@amvn.co.uk — it's free, and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113 — though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
We may update this statement from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top always shows the current version.
Questions about your privacy or this statement? Email hello@amvn.co.uk and we'll come back to you.
