01Our commitment

AMVN is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility isn't a checkbox for us — it's part of building things properly — and we treat it as ongoing work rather than a one-off.

02Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This site is partially conformant: most of it meets that standard, with some known exceptions listed below that we're working to resolve.

03How we've built it

Steps we've taken to keep the site accessible:

• Structured, semantic HTML — headings, landmarks and lists used meaningfully, so screen readers can navigate the page.
• Keyboard operable — links, buttons and interactive demos can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline showing where you are.
• Reduced motion respected — if your device is set to reduce motion, animations are minimised or switched off automatically.
• Responsive & zoom-friendly — layouts reflow on small screens and support browser zoom and larger text sizes.
• Considered colour contrast — core text and controls are set for readable contrast against their backgrounds.
• Text alternatives — meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; purely decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.

04Where we fall short

In the spirit of being straight with you, here's what we know isn't perfect yet:

• Custom cursor — on devices with a mouse, we replace the standard pointer with a custom dot. Keyboard and touch use are unaffected, and the effect is switched off on touch devices — but if a hidden pointer makes the site harder to use, let us know and we'll help.
• Portfolio concept previews — the “by sector” demos on our portfolio load sample mini-sites inside frames. These are illustrative showcases and may not all meet AA to the same standard as the main site.
• Some embedded or third-party content — where we link out or embed external material, we can't always guarantee it meets the same standards.

07How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 14 July 2026, based on our own review of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA. We review it as the site changes and welcome feedback that helps us improve.
